Abstract
This study assessed the impact of the digital divide on online learning outcomes during the post-pandemic education recovery period across Southeast Asian nations. Survey data from 3,456 students and 892 teachers in Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam revealed that access to reliable internet and digital devices remained significant predictors of academic success in blended learning environments. Students from rural areas scored 23% lower on standardized assessments compared to urban counterparts. The study identified several mitigating strategies including community learning centers, mobile-first educational platforms, and teacher digital literacy training that showed positive effects on reducing the achievement gap.
