AJESS is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics. Our policies are guided by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines.

For Authors

• Submissions must be original and not under consideration elsewhere
• All authors must have significantly contributed to the research
• Proper acknowledgment of others' work through citations
• Declaration of any conflicts of interest
• Compliance with ethical standards for research involving human subjects

For Reviewers

• Reviews should be conducted objectively and constructively
• Confidentiality of manuscripts must be maintained
• Any conflicts of interest should be disclosed
• Timely completion of reviews

For Editors

• Fair and impartial handling of submissions
• Decisions based on academic merit
• Maintaining confidentiality of the review process
• Handling allegations of misconduct appropriately
