Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement
AJESS is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics. Our policies are guided by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines.
For Authors
- Submissions must be original and not under consideration elsewhere
- All authors must have significantly contributed to the research
- Proper acknowledgment of others' work through citations
- Declaration of any conflicts of interest
- Compliance with ethical standards for research involving human subjects
For Reviewers
- Reviews should be conducted objectively and constructively
- Confidentiality of manuscripts must be maintained
- Any conflicts of interest should be disclosed
- Timely completion of reviews
For Editors
- Fair and impartial handling of submissions
- Decisions based on academic merit
- Maintaining confidentiality of the review process
- Handling allegations of misconduct appropriately
